Reflection in Multicultural Counseling

Reflection in Multicultural Couseling
The amount of multiculturalism in any society is directly proportional to the corruption at the top of a political system and inversely proportional to national unity.
by Louis Beam
Everywhere can found multicultural that’s divide the nation. Nation is born multicultured. Multiculturalism is an unnatural as well as unhealthy condition that can only afflict states in national decline. A multicultural state carries in it's geneses the seeds of eventual national destruction. Connection to this, being awareness is needed to avoid conflict or misunderstanding between two people who have a different culture.
Multicultural brings identity to one nation. It is s often used to describe societies (especially nations) which have many distinct cultural groups, usually as a result of immigration. This can lead to anxiety about the stability of national identity, yet can also lead to cultural exchanges that benefit the cultural groups. Such exchanges range from major accomplishments in literature, art and philosophy to relatively token appreciation of variations in music, dress and new foods.
Counselors bring degree of effectiveness with the differences of individuals. They should aware about their self, about the racism, sexism, and poverty, about the others cultures, about diversity and about individual skills because they are the one who help/guide us in understanding the multiculturalism.
Although there is multicultural between two groups still having a deeper understanding in the differences is the main important and main solution to unite people. Accepting other culture is important in having a good interaction and relationship with others people who have a different culture.
